Cookie policy

Which cookies and local storage Morse Code Translator uses, why, and how to change your choice.

Last updated · 18 October 2026

Morse Code Translator does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We store a few small settings in your browser so the tools remember where you left off. This page lists them and explains how to control them.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data a website saves in your browser. Cookies are sent back to the website with every request; local storage stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

We set no cookies of our own. The site is hosted by Vercel, which sets no cookies on this website, and our fonts are served from our own site.

Cookie categories

  • Essential — needed for the site to work, such as remembering your cookie choice. Always on.
  • Functional — remembers tool settings such as your practice level, learning progress and game scores. Always on, because they never leave your device.
  • Analytics — not used today. If we add privacy-friendly analytics, it will run only after you allow it in the cookie settings.
  • Advertising — never used.

Change your choice

You can also use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Clear stored data

To remove everything we store, clear this site’s data in your browser: in Chrome, Edge and Firefox open the padlock icon in the address bar and choose to clear site data or cookies; in Safari go to Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Clearing it resets your practice level, learning progress and game scores, and shows the cookie banner again.

Changes to this policy

If we start storing anything new, we will add it to the table above and update the date at the top before it goes live.
