Morse Code Translator does not collect what you translate. This policy explains the little information that does leave your device, why, and the choices you have.
What stays on your device
Every tool runs in your browser. Nothing you put into them is sent to us or stored on a server:
- Text and Morse code you type or paste into any translator, keyboard or tapper.
- Audio files and microphone recordings in the audio decoder.
- Images in the image translator, including pasted screenshots.
- Camera video in the camera scanner. Each frame is measured for brightness and discarded immediately; nothing is recorded.
- Video files in the video translator.
- Files you create, such as WAV audio, PNG images and WebM videos, which are built on your device.
Camera, microphone and flashlight
The camera scanner, audio decoder and flashlight ask your browser for permission before they use your camera, microphone or torch. Access stops when you stop the tool or leave the page. You can withdraw permission at any time in your browser’s site settings.
Information stored in your browser
We save a few small settings in your browser’s local storage, which never leave your device: your cookie choice, your Koch practice level, your learning-path progress and your game high scores. See our Cookie policy for details and how to clear them.
Information you send us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. The form is delivered by Web3Forms, which forwards it to our inbox. We use these details only to reply to you and delete them when the conversation is finished.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages and protect the service, and may keep short-lived logs for security.
Fonts
Our fonts are served from our own website, so loading a page does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service.
Advertising and tracking
We do not show ads, sell data or use tracking or advertising cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future, it will only run after you allow it in the cookie settings, and this policy will be updated first.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over your personal information. You can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw your consent.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The tools are suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the contact form is intended for adults or for children with a parent’s help.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
