In Type mode, use the . and - keys (or the arrow keys) — a wrong symbol ends the attempt at once. Every 5 correct answers in a row add ×1, up to ×4.

Play it 3 ways — key the code for a letter, read the code and name the letter, or name it by ear — across 4 levels from 8 starter letters to all 36 letters and numbers. Your best score for each mode and level is saved on your device.

How to Play Morse Sprint

To play Morse Sprint, choose a mode and a level, press Start and answer as many characters as you can in 60 seconds. A correct answer scores points equal to your multiplier; a wrong answer resets the multiplier to ×1 and shows the right code.

Answers are checked symbol by symbol, so there is no Submit button. The moment your dots and dashes match the code, the next character appears.

3 Game Modes, 3 Morse Skills

Each mode trains a different Morse skill: sending, reading and hearing. Type mode builds recall of each code, Read mode builds recognition of written Morse, and Ear mode builds the listening skill radio operators rely on.

Start with Read mode, move to Type mode, and play Ear mode once you know the starter letters by sound.

Scoring, Streaks and Multipliers

Morse Sprint scores 1 point per correct answer, multiplied by your current streak bonus. Every 5 correct answers in a row add ×1, up to ×4, so accuracy is worth more than rushing.

One wrong answer resets the multiplier to ×1. Your best score is kept separately for every mode and level, so a high Ear-mode score is never compared with an easy Read-mode round.

Why a Morse Code Game Helps You Learn

A timed game helps you learn Morse code because speed pressure stops you from counting dots and dashes. When you have under a second per answer, your brain switches from looking each code up to recognising it instantly — the skill that real copying needs.

Short daily rounds work best. Five 60-second rounds a day fit between other things and build recall faster than one long session a week.

5 ways to raise your score

0 / 5
  • 1 Play daily

Five rounds a day beats a long weekend session — recall fades between days.

  • 2 Protect the streak

A ×4 multiplier is worth 4 correct answers. Slow down slightly rather than break it.

  • 3 Review the misses

Select each missed character after a round to hear it, then play again.

  • 4 Level up at 90%

Move to the next level once your accuracy stays above 90%.

  • 5 Finish with Ear mode

End each session with one Ear round to train listening, not just reading.
